RENATA ANDRUSZKIEWICZ

My name is Renata Andruszkiewicz and I work as a carer for the elderly from 7 years. I chose this profession because I am not indifferent to the fate of the elderly. I like to help and accompany a person in everyday life, who needs it.

My job is to spend time with the mentee helping with household chores such as: food preparation, personal hygiene, walks, common conversations.

I chose Ireland as my workplace because I like Ireland and its people for their positive outlook on life.

Cooperation with ALH gave me the opportunity to work in Ireland and a sense of security and stability in my work - legal and well-paid.

AGATA PĄCZEK

I came to Ireland a few years ago with my friend for a vacation. I was planning to look for a job, but only on 2 months, because that's how much I was able to take unpaid vacation in Poland. That's how I packed myself for 1 suitcases - on vacation (things are just summer, back then I did not know what is the difference between summer in Ireland and our summer in Poland:-) But I felt so good here, contact with the language, a culture and fact that was new to me then, that I found a quickly well-paid job convinced me that I would take the risk and stay longer than those planned before 2 months Then I returned to Poland for a while and for some time I have been back in Ireland in Cork city. I had come across the work of the Tutor a few years earlier. My friends with whom I lived in the same house practiced this profession (in total 3 persons) but they worked by the hour. Nevertheless, I have heard a lot about this work and brought it closer to me living under one roof. I personally got acquainted with this work only a few years ago when my friend offered me a replacement for him 2 months with a disabled person in a wheelchair. Besides, I did a professional course. The Brian I was taking care of was an amazing person and that was the first time I thought to myself, that this job gives me satisfaction, teaches humility and distance to life. Last year, I started looking for a job as a carer and I came to the ALH website by accident.. There was a phone number listed on the website, and that's how my ALH story began. I thought, best to call before sending my CV and ask directly about job opportunities. The very nice Mary answered the phone, whom I later managed to meet in person and asked me to send me my CV and said, that Mrs. Kasia will contact me- Manager -Polka. It made me very happy, that I can go through the next stage of recruitment in Polish. After a short time, the Lady contacted me. Kasia and things have gone quite quickly and at the same time professionally and reliably.

I was attracted to the offers that I received 2 brethren – twins with a slight degree of disability. When I saw them in the photo, my intuition told me, that this job is for me. I have been working for some time and I am very satisfied. For example, I am pleased with the fact, that the dinners I prepare for them taste good to them, because I was a little afraid though, that it's a different cuisine, but I always ask the guys and it tastes good im:-). The smile and thanks of the brothers are invaluable to me. The twins thank you for everything, and for me it is a great satisfaction with the work I do.

Coming to Ireland I remember, that caught my attention it, that people in the streets, when they pass by you, they smile and most often say "Hi hello" to strangers, which, however, is not very common in Poland. It felt strange at the beginning, but it is still very nice, that a stranger, who passes me by smiles at me and instantly cheers me up for the day. But when I come to Poland, I miss that… that smile from a stranger.

GRAŻYNA KRAWCZYŃSKA

When looking for a job, I was browsing advertisements on the Internet. An advertisement for a carer job in Ireland caught my attention on the ALH website. I called the phone number provided and talked to a very nice person, which explained my working conditions and dispelled my fears . I went through the recruitment process and ....
I took this job, I'm here already 3 months. Before that, I did various jobs (in care and medicine) and I must admit that I have not had such a calm one yet, a nice and well-paid job. Having two days off a week, I use them to visit closer and further interesting places in Ireland. My client is a person after hip surgery, very cheerful, nice and talkative. I trained the English language. I would like to work with ALH as long as possible, because you can count on them.

MAŁGORZATA SKOWROŃSKA

Hello. My name is Małgorzata and I have been working as ALH Guardian in Ireland for over a year. First in the Limerick area, and for eight months near Cork airport. I really appreciate working as a carer for the elderly, as well as cooperation with the ALH team. My experience in this very collaboration throughout the entire period of my work in Ireland is very positive. I've experienced a lot of support, is it in the tips, Is it in solving various problems that always pop up for us living outside our homeland and I could and can always count on professional and friendly help. I know, that I do not work alone in some isolation, at the mercy of the employer, because there are people on the ALH board who understand the work of simple carer - like me.

As for the English language, I knew it before coming to Ireland.

10 years ago, I came here for the first time for a few months and only came back now. I like this country, it's such a… Green Island, but people are nice too, smiling and polite. They are different from the English, or the Germans, much more "familiar". The weather is very interesting. The constantly blowing wind brings clouds from over the Atlantic and alternately during the day it rains and the sun shines. You can dry your laundry in such wind and sun in an hour (but you also have to collect it so that it does not flood back after this hour).Summer temperatures are lower than in Poland, but there are no severe winters ... and you go "to the left".

As a Carer of ALH I get a very good salary as well (optional) various courses in Medical Care, which heighten my experience, knowledge and professionalism in carrying out my duties - I receive certificates and I have peace of mind, that I do my job professionally.

I am very grateful to the ALH Team for accepting me to work as a Caregiver for Elderly People in Ireland and for the care we are shown to ALH carers..

Polish carers in Ireland – opinie ALHomecare

I would like to recommend ALHomecare as a perfectly organized and friendly agency. At every stage - from the recruitment process, first days of work in Ireland and during my stay here, I can feel professionally supported by highly qualified staff.

All my doubts and questions, I've ever had, were explained in a polite and efficient manner. I especially appreciate Mr. Tom Quinlan's personal involvement in matters related to my employment contract and his patience in resolving my few problems. Many thanks to Ms Marta Matczyńska for being brilliant, easy recruitment process and any valuable advice related to formal issues, work and training.

Mrs. Barbara

I have been working with ALHomecare for over two years. I have worked in several families and had several replacements for my friends. The company guarantees work in accordance with the contract and conducts interesting courses for carers. An ALHomecare employee provides the new guardian with help in completing the basic formalities, such as PPS (tax number), opening a bank account, etc.. Both on the Polish side, and the Irish, great people work, nice and helpful at all times. Working in a family and taking care of the charge gives a lot of satisfaction. Families appreciate the work of a caregiver and treat him as a family member. Depending on the family work schedule, you can also work part time in a second job, e.g: shop, restaurant or hotel. I am very pleased with the cooperation with ALHomecare. Thank you

Pani Maria

I have been working with the ALHomecare agency for two years now and in my humble opinion it is the best agency in Ireland, if I were to recommend someone to work as a carer / sitter, it is only through ALHomecare

Safety and support are paramount in our work abroad, I have all the time, and the office staff are very helpful and react quickly if we need anything. They help in relations with families, where we are employed. Mr. Tom even helped me with my private affairs, for which I am very grateful to him. Courses are very important, which the agency provides us , broaden our knowledge of the diseases of older people and help in our daily work. greetings, Jadwiga

Mrs. Jadwiga

My name is Ewa and I started working as a tutor for the ALHomecare agency around 3 years ago. I have a lot of support from the beginning, management has always been very friendly, understanding and very helpful in finding and organizing a suitable place for me
all in a very professional way. The agency cares about us very much, and it does, that we feel very much needed, and they also care for families, our clients, who are very satisfied with our work. I can also do some e-courses via ALHomecare, which are very important to everyone, who wants to work as a tutor, great knowledge and great opportunity for us. I really appreciate my cooperation with the ALHomecare agency, because it gives me a fantastic opportunity to work as a carer in Ireland.

Mrs. Ewa

Why can I recommend ALHomecare? First of all, due to very good conditions and a sense of security. Everything is organized like this, that you know your working conditions from the beginning. You know who you care for and in what conditions you will live. Do you know, what will your salary be, vacation and possible overtime work. Moreover, always, if something goes wrong, you can count on the agency's care and support. Before I went to work at ALHomecare, I looked through dozens of offers from England, Germany and Ireland. Nowhere else have such good ones been offered, civilized conditions like here. But the most important thing is this, that no other agency, I was talking to, she didn't mention a word about it, which matters so much: about kindness and a good heart for the student / ward. And it really was the main factor, which prompted me to work at this agency. Therefore, with a clear conscience, I recommend working at ALHomecare to everyone.

Mrs. Iwona

I work in Ireland through ALHomecare as a tutor by 3 patch. I am employed under an employment contract, all insurance premiums and income tax are paid. A caregiver's job is hard work, it is definitely not a job for princesses. The guardian has many duties and must be substantive and mentally prepared for this profession, however, being willing to help people or wanting to earn money is not enough. I chose the ALHomecare agencies, because the agency protects the interests of its employees and I feel safe with them. I work according to the contract 7 hours a day, and for every overtime I get extra pay, I have two days a week off, I am also paid twice for work on public holidays. I go to school on my day off, where I have the opportunity not only to improve my English, but also meet people from all over the world, their culture, religion and mentality. There are students from Bangladesh in my group, Brazil, Peru, Spain, Colombia, Congo, Egypt, Moldova, Ukraine. I really like my school and my friends, that is also one of the reasons, for which i work in ireland. And besides
I have the opportunity to do this during the summer holidays, what i like best, Zumba classes, skating, visiting exhibitions, being at concerts, in the theater and spa salons, buying training for the world's best coaches, of course in the movies, because I can't afford a live meeting. Thanks to my work in Ireland, I can not only help my family financially, which is of course very important to all of us, but i can still work on self development as well. The training in English organized by the agency is very helpful for all of us, thanks to which we can master the medical vocabulary necessary in our work. Thanks to my work with the ALHomecare agency, I have met many wonderful women, who became my friends. We are in constant contact,
we visit each other, we support each other, we also visit the Green Island together. Working with the ALHomecare agency can be a great adventure in your life. I could give many arguments encouraging cooperation with the ALH agency as a good and reliable company.

Pani Lena

My opinion about ALH: Leaving the country is not an easy decision and there are always many doubts. Despite many positive reviews, I've read about ALHomecare, I had doubts, can I trust these people. Contact with the people who make up this company is always at a professional level. They make sure, that both sides, both guardian, and the client, are satisfied with the cooperation. I always received a helpful answer to every inquiry. I didn't feel, that I was left alone with smaller and bigger problems. They explain how to complete all formalities after starting work. Thanks to this company, you will certainly feel safe, starting work in Ireland. I think, that these people are friendly to others, with a high level of personal culture, which is not so common. I sincerely recommend ALHomecare to all future owners. greetings,

Pani Diana |

ALHomecare is a very helpful and reliable company. People, who work there, try to find offers that meet the needs of everyone.

Pani Anna

My experience of working with the agency is very positive. I can feel it, that I can ask for anything in case of any doubts or problems. Because I can communicate in my own language, it makes, it's even easier. The company reacts very quickly, also offers help with family problems, you work with or even change it.

Mrs. Magda

I am very pleased with the cooperation with ALHomecare. I can always count on their support and help. They have a very professional approach. Collaboration runs smoothly. I sincerely recommend ALHomecare.

Mrs. Marzena

I have been cooperating with the ALH agency since 3 years. I am very happy, because they make me feel comfortable. I can report to them on any matter and I am sure, that they will help me. I trust them and recommend them.

Mrs. Elwira

I am a carer for the elderly. I have been cooperating with the ALHomecare agency for almost three years. I found ALHomecare on the internet, I started cooperation and I was not disappointed. Now I'm working on a second contract. I am very pleased with the training courses at the agency, because I can gain useful knowledge for work and obtain certificates. Agency owners and staff are friendly and helpful. They help you find the right person, that fits the right family. I enjoy working here and will definitely work with them in the future.
